OPENINGS on Board of Adjustments and on Park Board -applications may be picked up and returned to City Hall.

OPENING on EDC Board - applications may be picked up at the EDC office or City Secretary's office at City Hall.

GBC will test the city's Tornado Warning Siren System the first Wednesday of each month unless there is inclement weather.

Welcome to Gun Barrel City

GBC MayorWe're excited to announce the launch of our first city Web site. While the site will be a continuing work in progress, we think that you will be pleased with this initial version.

Our objective is to help our various constituents [residents, businesses, and visitors] find exactly the information they need. This is a communications tool not only for our community, but also for those considering everything from vacations and relocation to starting a small business or making an investment in local real estate.
